Bridging the Digital Divide
TripStudyXO began when we recognised that many seniors in Waterford felt left behind by rapidly advancing technology. Traditional computer courses moved too quickly and assumed knowledge that many older adults simply hadn't had the opportunity to develop.
We created a different approach - one that celebrates the wisdom and experience our students bring, whilst patiently introducing them to the digital world. Our instructors understand that learning technology later in life requires different methods than teaching younger students.
Today, we're proud to have helped hundreds of seniors in the Waterford area gain confidence with computers, tablets, and smartphones. Our students tell us they feel more connected to family, more independent in daily tasks, and more confident navigating the modern world.
